Editorial Review:

Product Description:
'A WOMAN'S SECRETS. A MAN'S SEARCH.AN UNEXPLORED REALM OF PURE PLEASURE...Pride. Power. Passion. They are the hallmarks of the shapeshifting Chanku although not every member can immediately accept these gifts. Some, like Eve, must learn to love themselves before they can fully embrace their heritage. Eve's journey takes her far from Montana and her mate, Adam. What she finds in Florida's steamy climes is another of her kind. Beautiful, mysterious, and extraordinarily sensuous, Mei Chen is also desperate and alone for she harbors a terrifying secret that will destroy her, unless she can open herself to the power of the pack...Oliver knows the loneliness of total isolation, of being unable to share ecstasy with another living soul, so when he accompanies Adam to Florida to reunite with Eve, he is immediately drawn to her vulnerable companion. Mei clearly needs Adam's healing touch, yet Oliver, so long in the shadows, also recognizes Mei as the mate for whom he has been searching. Only when Mei is free to lay herself completely bare, can her Chanku destiny be fulfilled. And when she is ready, no matter what the risk, Oliver will be there to indulge her every desire...'

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Once you meet a Chanku & if you run, you WILL come back!
Eve left Montana. She just was not ready to mate with Adam. Something just really called in her mind to go back to her hometown, Tampa, Florida. She had been there for a while and she just could not figure out what this calling was-until she went to the store and helped another female, Mei, from stealing. Eve then finds out later that she was in a foster home with Mei and remembered her.

Eve takes Mei under her wing. She feeds her, takes her shopping, gives her a place to stay (since Mei is homeless) and eventually makes love to her. More time goes by and Eve begins thinking more of Adam.

Eve then makes a call to Keisha in Montana and gives her a bogus statement that someone needs to come after her. Anton then figures the perfect person to be, guess who, Adam. He takes Oliver along with him.

Adam gets his love back and Oliver and Mei hit it off really well. Both couples make love and Oliver begins to have feelings for Mei-eventually Mei comes around to feel the same. Only there's one problem, there's something special about Mei they can't quite figure out. They all head back to Montana so Anton can help figure this out.

Anton gives Mei the supplement to shapeshift. Several days go by and she has all of the signs of Chanku but cannot shift. Anton calls for everyone to have a meeting for everyone to mind connect. She then shifts but to an utter surprise!!!

What will this surprise be? You have to read...this leads to the problem of Oliver and Mei bonding since they have fallen in love. I cannot wait to read what happens in Sexy Beast V (Aphrodisia) when they have a conscience/body swap to help them bond.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - So disappointed!
This is the first book out of the entire series that I want to return to Amazon. There was no plot, the sex scenes couldn't save the book and it felt like a bad porno. I wanted to love this book just like I loved all the others, but I couldn't do it.

First of all I just have to get one thing off of my chest, Adam and Eve?!?! Seriously, how un-creative is that? Okay with that said and done, I wanted Adam and Eve {cringe} to have the whole entire story to themselves so that way their relationship could develop and we would get to know their personality a bit more. But that didn't happen, instead the author threw in two more characters one of whom we don't know and the other who should've gotten his own story. I didn't feel connected to anyone in this book and wouldn't recommend anyone else reading it. It will only disappoint you.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Another Hit for Kate Douglas
Another enjoyable chapter in the whole Chanku saga.
Adam & Eve finally get their "happily ever after"(we were left wondering after Sexy Beast IV, their introduction), and though Oliver & Mei don't, there is enough to leave me satisfied with the ending, and anxiously awaiting Wolf Tales VII. I loved visiting with all of our friends of the Montana Pack, and seeing how they're doing.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wolf Tales VI
As with all the Wolf Tales Books Kate Douglas grabbed my attention from the start and held it until well into the morning. Enjoyed the whole series from the start, can't wait for the next one, to see what happens next.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This book is the worst in the series
I only wish I could give this book a zero. As a regular reader, not a professional reviewer, I have to say that I was disappointed in Wolf Tales V and was hesitant about Adam and Eve's story. Mainly, I hoped that the author would explore the relationship between Adam and his mother and sister. That didn't happen. Wolf Tales VI is by far the worst in the series. The author doesn't take time to develop the characters and make us care about them. Adam meet Eve. Here's a pill to make you Chanku. Oh, I love you. You are my mate. No plot, no struggle. Nothing except the author wanting us to just accept that after being Chanku 3 weeks, Eve can sense another Chanku thousands of miles away. Give me a break.

The author needs to go back to the beginning and read some of the powerful scenes that she wrote between Anton and Stephan and Mik and AJ and Tala. Those scenes made you feel the love and caring between them and the struggle that they went through to accept who they are. The scenes in Wolf Tales VI are completely lacking. The characters are having sex. You don't feel the love or the connection between them. I am not spending anymore of my money on this series. I just wish I could get my money back for this book.

You can say this about D.E.B.S.: director Angela Robinson’s 2005 feature isn’t very good, but it is surprisingly entertaining. The premise, which bears a passing resemblance to any number of previous films (from Heathers and Clueless to Charlie’s Angels and the Austin Powers franchise), involves a secret government agency recruiting young women as spies, based on their smarts, their ability to lie convincingly, and the fact that they look fetching in ultra-miniskirts. Four of the D.E.B.S. are then charged with collaring "criminal mastermind" Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), who has returned to the States after hatching all manner of nefarious plots overseas. Then comes the twist: Diamond is gay, and one of our heroines, Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster), unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with her. Out goes the espionage element; in comes the love story, and therein lies the surprise, as this burgeoning lesbian relationship is handled with unexpected sympathy, even tenderness. Sure, the acting, even by veteran grownups like Holland Taylor and Michael Clarke Duncan, is almost uniformly lame, and the script is silly; overall, the film would have to put on considerable weight to even be considered frothy. Still, D.E.B.S. isn’t a bad way to kill a couple of hours. DVD bonus features include a making-of featurette and commentary by Robinson and the cast. --Sam Graham

The teaming of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie) and Seann William Scott (Dude, Where's My Car?) as well as the presence of the '70s-flavored car chases that were a specialty of the TV series guarantees that The Dukes of Hazzard will be even more lowbrow than the CBS TV series (1979-85) that inspired it. However, this brain-damaging comedy is more "rehash" than "remake," as good ol' Georgiaboys Luke Duke (Knoxville) and his cousin Bo (Scott) are frequently upstaged bythe General Lee, the Confederate-flagged '69 Charger that they drive, jump, race, and fly in as they smuggle moonshine for their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). Meanwhile, cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) is reliably available to model her short-shorts (aka "Daisy Dukes") and awesome figure (and let's face it, Simpson's talents pretty much begin and end right there), while corrupt honcho Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds, who should know better) recruits a local NASCAR star to advance his wily scheme of converting Hazzard County into a strip mine. Director Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers) manages to mine some good-natured humor from the movie's oval-track detour and a few colorful supporting players (notably Kevin Hefferman as the Duke's pal Sheev). Otherwise, consider yourself warned: The Dukes of Hazzard is shameless Hollywood product at its most forgettable, trafficking in shameless white, rural Southern stereotypes. If you can make itto the end, there's a blooper reel to reward your endurance. --Jeff Shannon

DVD features
Yes, the unrated edition of The Dukes of Hazzard has nudity... but no, it's not of Jessica Simpson, but topless sorority girls. There are also two sets--"PG-13" and "unrated"--of deleted scenes and bloopers. The four minutes of unrated deleted scenes (supplementing the 25 minutes of "PG-13" deleted scenes) include more sorority girls and a menage à trois for Johnny Knoxville . The five minutes of unrated bloopers (the same amount as the "PG-13" bloopers) feature a few more girls but mostly bad language. Featurettes discuss the Daisy Duke short shorts (and show how you can make your own), car stunts, and the making of the movie (narrated by a cast member of the original TV series). --David Horiuchi
