Feeling adventurous? Sex educator and best-selling writer Violet Blue guides readers through the pleasure playground of strap-on sex for heterosexual couples. The wild success of The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women and The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Men makes it clear that anal sex is hitting the mainstream. Lots of hot women want to strap it on, and their male partners are often happy to oblige. With style and wit, Violet Blue explains pleasure anatomy in men, with ample attention to the prostate gland — the epicenter to male orgasm that’s been called “the male G-spot.” Full of crafty ideas on positions, toys, harnesses, role-play scenarios, and reading your partner like a dirty book, The Adventurous Couple’s Guide to Strap-On Sex offers a step-by-step guide to making sparks fly. And look, ma! No hands. Related Items: Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Not bad, a solid resourceViolet Blue's writing is, well, boring. She lacks a voice or tone, and if she were writing anything else, I'd have to give this book 3 stars at most. But since this still ends up being such an informative guide, I can let the stilted writing go. I only wish there was more about different harness styles- there are WAY more than what is mentioned in the book, and kinksters on budgets can't afford a shoddy harness. The erotica in the book was alright, but pretty unimaginative. Hasn't Blue ever considered that just because the woman has a strap-on, doesn't mean she's nessacarily topping? Rating: - Surprisingly Good BookI bought this book because I was interested in learning more about the subject. The sex book genre is full of books that have an interesting subject, but appear to be written by 5th graders, and then printed without being edited. In addition, the publishing quality is frequently fairly low, which makes for a bad reading experience. This book, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's well-written, interesting, informative, and published in a professional manner. I recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about pegging. |

Marie opens the show with an outdoor rendition of "We Need a Little Christmas" and then moves into the studio where Kirk Cameron arrives on a snowmobile (fresh from rescuing a trio of blonde snow bunnies) to read "The First Christmas Story." Lee Greenwood performs "Christmas to Christmas" and later a duet with Marie. "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" is sung by Sally Struthers and daughter with help from the Osmond Boys--six stepping stones ages 4 to 12 who have the senior Osmonds' moves down pat. The adorable award, though, goes to Marie's 5-year-old son, Steven, who performs a rockin' version of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" (clapping on the off-beat nearly the whole song).
Marie has a good, strong voice, but many of the songs are overproduced and melodramatic. This, most likely, is a product of the big, pouffy '80s (her hair and outfits are also bigger-than-life) rather than a reflection of her talents. The closing number, "O Holy Night," sung by Marie alone, is quite lovely. --Dana Van Nest
