Editorial Review:

Description:
Glamour Television presents a documentary/educational film which provokes and dazzles the imagination. The film deconstructs the traditional rubric within which female sexuality is mostly conceived; forging a new framework for understanding the female orgasm. The film lays to rest the 'myth' of female ejaculation and the g-spot - an exquisite preserve of mystery and wonder.

With unbridled audacity, the women of LIQUID LOVE celebrate the symphony of desire, abandon and rapture as they gush forth their 'primal liquid gold.'

Complete with expert analysis from Dr. Carol Queen of Good Vibrations, and Deborah Sundahl, g-spot expert; and ravishing tales of explosive orgasms by the ejaculating women on the film, this presentation weaves a rich tapestry of sizzling eroticism, intellect and explosive female ejaculations; yielding an evocative and rare motion picture.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A wonderful blend of the erotic, and the informative...
I found this to be a wonderful addition to the rather limited info out there on the mysteries of the g-spot and female ejaculation. It is a beauty to watch, I respectfully disagree that the women in the film are not attractive. Educational without being pedantic, erotic without being pornographic. Again to the naysayers, I would suggest that every woman is different and that the amount of clitoral stimulation does not take away from or negate in any way the g-spot connection to female ejaculation.

I would agree the price is high. But, from the viewpoint that I would like more women, and their partners to have the benefit of this dvd; not that I think it is not worth the price.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - don't believe the hype
This video is supposed to be about female ejaculation through the g-spot, but it seemed all the females here had them through clitoral stimulation with very little g-spot stimulation, was I the only one that noticed that?
And the actresses were not very attractive and I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know. I have a feeling that all these positive reviews were left by people who produced the film. So do yourself a favor and skip this one, it's not worth it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Liquid Love sparkles with rapture and female power
Since the 1950's to the present, the g-spot has occupied the preserve of cryptic mystery and confusion. Public imagination has been captured, speculation exploded to mythic proportions, books and articles rushed to print; yet skepticism abound. And still, no real serious documentary films have been made on this mysterious phenomenon until now: Liquid Love: the G-Spot Explosion.

Probably, the only burden this documentary film must contend with is viewers believing that these incredible women are actually ejaculating alongside the obvious explosive orgasms the viewer can see and hear. My female friends watched this film with mouths open the entire time. You have to love what even women don't know about women.

This film clearly lays to rest the half-century-debate about the g-spot and what other spots our sisters are silent about. And with grace, elegance and PBS documentary style, this film delivers the beauty, color, tenderness and almost boundless centripetal power of female sexuality. To all women, and to men who adore the sensualism and plastique of the feminine interior...this is your documentary film.

Liquid Love is both an intellectual viewer's delight, and a curious viewer's pictorial haven. This is a quality film, replete with melodic music, the erotic female body and rich intellectually viable g-spot confessions.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - did not deliver
This film had lots of potential but it returned very little. There were very few close ups of the women at the time of orgasm and therefore it was difficult to determine if what you were seeing was real or just some camera tricks. Much of the DVD was dark and poorly lit. The interviews with the women were interesting enough and their bodies were pleasant to look at. Overall this film was way over priced and was very short in duration. Production quality could have been better. I feel a 2 star rating is generous. Consider skipping this one.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - claim your sexuality
I found this video to be very enlightening. The extras provide additional information not present in the main video - sort of a mini "how-to". Having been raised and taught by religious and sexually repressed people, I wanted to claim my complete sexuality and work past years of negative programming, and this video has helped immensely! My only disappointment was that there were no sections that showed a man participating, only woman alone, or two women together...if you are a little hesitant to view this, stick with it, the information and the personal interviews, combined with the clinical information, made it well worth it!

You can say this about D.E.B.S.: director Angela Robinson’s 2005 feature isn’t very good, but it is surprisingly entertaining. The premise, which bears a passing resemblance to any number of previous films (from Heathers and Clueless to Charlie’s Angels and the Austin Powers franchise), involves a secret government agency recruiting young women as spies, based on their smarts, their ability to lie convincingly, and the fact that they look fetching in ultra-miniskirts. Four of the D.E.B.S. are then charged with collaring "criminal mastermind" Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), who has returned to the States after hatching all manner of nefarious plots overseas. Then comes the twist: Diamond is gay, and one of our heroines, Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster), unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with her. Out goes the espionage element; in comes the love story, and therein lies the surprise, as this burgeoning lesbian relationship is handled with unexpected sympathy, even tenderness. Sure, the acting, even by veteran grownups like Holland Taylor and Michael Clarke Duncan, is almost uniformly lame, and the script is silly; overall, the film would have to put on considerable weight to even be considered frothy. Still, D.E.B.S. isn’t a bad way to kill a couple of hours. DVD bonus features include a making-of featurette and commentary by Robinson and the cast. --Sam Graham

The teaming of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie) and Seann William Scott (Dude, Where's My Car?) as well as the presence of the '70s-flavored car chases that were a specialty of the TV series guarantees that The Dukes of Hazzard will be even more lowbrow than the CBS TV series (1979-85) that inspired it. However, this brain-damaging comedy is more "rehash" than "remake," as good ol' Georgiaboys Luke Duke (Knoxville) and his cousin Bo (Scott) are frequently upstaged bythe General Lee, the Confederate-flagged '69 Charger that they drive, jump, race, and fly in as they smuggle moonshine for their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). Meanwhile, cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) is reliably available to model her short-shorts (aka "Daisy Dukes") and awesome figure (and let's face it, Simpson's talents pretty much begin and end right there), while corrupt honcho Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds, who should know better) recruits a local NASCAR star to advance his wily scheme of converting Hazzard County into a strip mine. Director Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers) manages to mine some good-natured humor from the movie's oval-track detour and a few colorful supporting players (notably Kevin Hefferman as the Duke's pal Sheev). Otherwise, consider yourself warned: The Dukes of Hazzard is shameless Hollywood product at its most forgettable, trafficking in shameless white, rural Southern stereotypes. If you can make itto the end, there's a blooper reel to reward your endurance. --Jeff Shannon

DVD features
Yes, the unrated edition of The Dukes of Hazzard has nudity... but no, it's not of Jessica Simpson, but topless sorority girls. There are also two sets--"PG-13" and "unrated"--of deleted scenes and bloopers. The four minutes of unrated deleted scenes (supplementing the 25 minutes of "PG-13" deleted scenes) include more sorority girls and a menage à trois for Johnny Knoxville . The five minutes of unrated bloopers (the same amount as the "PG-13" bloopers) feature a few more girls but mostly bad language. Featurettes discuss the Daisy Duke short shorts (and show how you can make your own), car stunts, and the making of the movie (narrated by a cast member of the original TV series). --David Horiuchi
