FAQs
What is K-Y® Brand YOURS+MINE™?
Created by the top brand that truly understands intimacy and couples’ needs, K-Y® Brand YOURS+MINE™ is a new first for men and women seeking to enhance and heighten their intimate journey. The idea is so simple yet the results are explosive chemistry. Knowing it takes two to create a magical encounter, K-Y® Brand Yours+Mine™ offers two lubricants with different sensations. One is invigorating for him, the other thrilling for her and when they combine there is an amazing reaction.

What does the product feel like exactly?
Actually, it’s a very unique and personal experience. When we developed YOURS+MINE™ we had some pre-conceived notions of what couples would feel. However, after testing the product with real couples, the results were eye opening.

Different couples felt different sensations. We discovered that it was dependent on the individual, how sensitive they were, how much product was used, etc. More importantly, they shared that the product encouraged more communication making the time they spent together even more enjoyable.

Who should use this product?
K-Y® Brand YOURS+MINE™ is ideal for couples who are open to adding pleasure and excitement to their sex life and exploring new ways of deepening their relationship overall. For couples today, life is so filled with juggling family, relationships, work health, etc. that they have little time for anything else.

These couples believe that every encounter is an opportunity to deepen their physical and emotional connection through mutual pleasure. That is why they try to make each moment more exciting than the last: more playful, more adventurous, and more experimental.

Was K-Y® Brand YOURS+MINE™ tested with real couples? What was their feedback?
Yes, we did test the product with real couples. The most surprising feedback to come out of our testing was that couples said that the product encouraged more communication. Many said they took their time and talked about what they were feeling. Basically, they said the experience was more fun and exciting than what they had been doing before. Couples told us:

  • The liked a combo product to 'help break the routine.'
  • Sex and foreplay were more playful than usual.
  • They felt more aroused and more playful than usual as well.

Is it safe to use with condoms?
Both lubricants are compatible with latex condoms and we recommend men use it on the outside and inside to enjoy the product benefits.

Do the vials glow-in-the-dark?
The test-tubes themselves don’t glow in the dark; rather the words on the vials do making his 'Yours' and her 'Mine' easier to find. The ingredients in the special inks that are used undergo a thorough safety assessment.

Features:
  • Contains his1.5-ounce bottle and hers 1.5-ounce bottle, package contains 1 of each
  • Both lubricants are compatible with latex condoms
  • When the individual lubricants mix during sex, they combine to create an exciting sensation
  • The blue goes on him for an invigorating sensation
  • The purple goes on her for a thrilling sensation

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Um, can you say "Vaginitis"?
Well, I was excited about trying this product for my anniversary. The lotion for the man did nothing for my husband and the female lotion kind of burned/tingled. It didn't make the experience any more exciting. We used this product a week ago, and I have finally been able to narrow down my itching and painful urination to this product. I have never had any issues with a lubricant before so I am maybe thinking my special area is allergic to menthol (according to the KY box). Anyway, it seems like a nice idea, but a product that induces ok sex the first time and no/painful burning sex for many more days does not seem like one worth buying. Especially since it's so expensive, $15 at Target. Read the reviews and try something else. Or, if you can take it and you're into menthol, just get some Vicks Vapo Rub or something!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - From what I hear it works.
I've personally never tried this product, but I got this for a friend of mine. I can tell that it must be pretty great because he came back asking where I got it from because he wanted to get more. Makes me interested now.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good for a little "kick"
I reviewed this once. Amazon lost this. It works really good. The instructions are easy to follow. Since it is of a personal matter, all I can really say is when your looking for a something little extra to make your special encounter a little more special, this will do the trick. I would recommend it and clean up is easy.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - hmm....
Underwhelming and seemingly unnecessary. I had never used a product like this so there was some novelty, but in the end it just seemed messy and more of a hassle than enhancement. The product packaging was aesthetically impressive, but less than useful when you are trying to find a place to put a test tube shaped container with no good flat side to place it on. (hint, don't put it upside down on its flat top, there is no leakproof guarantee.)

The packaging is also effectively oversold the end results. I would not go as far as using the word "ignites" when combined. The scents are pleasant and effects were, well, noticeable, but not earth moving. It was not a bad product by any means, but probably not a repeat purchase.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice novelty
An interesting idea in personal lubricants - two contrasting sensations that together provide a more pleasurable experience. "His/Yours" comes in a blue tube and provides a warming sensation while "Hers/Mine" is in a reddish-purple tube and provides a cooling sensation. The His liquid was thicker and not as slick, and neither of us noticed much of a sensation from it, although perhaps we didn't use enough. The Hers was thinner and more slippery and was more noticeable. I probably rate it higher than my wife does. Both clean up rather easily, as is expected with KY products. The packaging seemed unnecessarily large. The shape of the bottles was an unusual idea - shaped like test tubes - but not very practical as they won't stand upright on their own, and unless the snap tops are sealed completely they'll leave a mess. A better idea might have been different shaped bottles so they could be differentiated without the lights, and maybe softer plastic that squeezes easier. Note as well that there is a foil-like safety seal under the cap that needs to be removed before the first use - something best done before you're ready to use it. Overall, it's a nice idea and scores points for the novelty but I'm not sure it's better than the regular product to justify the price.

Sales of semiconductors in November indicate that consumer products such as LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs, digital music players, and other devices sold well during the holidays, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said Monday.

November chip sales rose 2.3 percent year-on-year to $23.1 billion, the SIA said.

Unit demand has far outpaced last year. But falling chip prices have hurt industry revenue, the chip association said. For example, DRAM (dynamic RAM) bit shipments grew 25 percent in the three months through mid-December, but average selling prices have declined 20 percent over the same period.

The association also noted that rising energy prices and concerns about the sub-prime lending issue in the U.S. do not appear to have had a significant impact on consumer spending for the holidays, the SIA said. The group reiterated its forecast that worldwide semiconductor sales will reach a new record in 2007. But it will take a stronger than expected December selling season to reach the 3.8 percent growth goal the group had forecast earlier this year, the SIA said.

Investment banking firm Credit Suisse was not as optimistic as the SIA.

The November data was below normal seasonal trends, noted analyst John Pitzer, in a report on Monday. Even if December reaches its normal seasonal growth, 2007 industry revenue will only reach $255.7 billion, up 3.2 percent over last year. The growth percentage would fall short of the SIA's 3.8 percent target.

The slow November prompted Credit Suisse to lower its 2008 chip industry revenue forecast to 9.4 percent year-on-year growth, down from a previous target of 13 percent.

You can say this about D.E.B.S.: director Angela Robinson’s 2005 feature isn’t very good, but it is surprisingly entertaining. The premise, which bears a passing resemblance to any number of previous films (from Heathers and Clueless to Charlie’s Angels and the Austin Powers franchise), involves a secret government agency recruiting young women as spies, based on their smarts, their ability to lie convincingly, and the fact that they look fetching in ultra-miniskirts. Four of the D.E.B.S. are then charged with collaring "criminal mastermind" Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), who has returned to the States after hatching all manner of nefarious plots overseas. Then comes the twist: Diamond is gay, and one of our heroines, Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster), unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with her. Out goes the espionage element; in comes the love story, and therein lies the surprise, as this burgeoning lesbian relationship is handled with unexpected sympathy, even tenderness. Sure, the acting, even by veteran grownups like Holland Taylor and Michael Clarke Duncan, is almost uniformly lame, and the script is silly; overall, the film would have to put on considerable weight to even be considered frothy. Still, D.E.B.S. isn’t a bad way to kill a couple of hours. DVD bonus features include a making-of featurette and commentary by Robinson and the cast. --Sam Graham

The teaming of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie) and Seann William Scott (Dude, Where's My Car?) as well as the presence of the '70s-flavored car chases that were a specialty of the TV series guarantees that The Dukes of Hazzard will be even more lowbrow than the CBS TV series (1979-85) that inspired it. However, this brain-damaging comedy is more "rehash" than "remake," as good ol' Georgiaboys Luke Duke (Knoxville) and his cousin Bo (Scott) are frequently upstaged bythe General Lee, the Confederate-flagged '69 Charger that they drive, jump, race, and fly in as they smuggle moonshine for their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). Meanwhile, cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) is reliably available to model her short-shorts (aka "Daisy Dukes") and awesome figure (and let's face it, Simpson's talents pretty much begin and end right there), while corrupt honcho Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds, who should know better) recruits a local NASCAR star to advance his wily scheme of converting Hazzard County into a strip mine. Director Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers) manages to mine some good-natured humor from the movie's oval-track detour and a few colorful supporting players (notably Kevin Hefferman as the Duke's pal Sheev). Otherwise, consider yourself warned: The Dukes of Hazzard is shameless Hollywood product at its most forgettable, trafficking in shameless white, rural Southern stereotypes. If you can make itto the end, there's a blooper reel to reward your endurance. --Jeff Shannon

DVD features
Yes, the unrated edition of The Dukes of Hazzard has nudity... but no, it's not of Jessica Simpson, but topless sorority girls. There are also two sets--"PG-13" and "unrated"--of deleted scenes and bloopers. The four minutes of unrated deleted scenes (supplementing the 25 minutes of "PG-13" deleted scenes) include more sorority girls and a menage à trois for Johnny Knoxville . The five minutes of unrated bloopers (the same amount as the "PG-13" bloopers) feature a few more girls but mostly bad language. Featurettes discuss the Daisy Duke short shorts (and show how you can make your own), car stunts, and the making of the movie (narrated by a cast member of the original TV series). --David Horiuchi
