![]() Rating: - Fair warningIf you buy this book new from Amazon, you will probably end up on the author's email list where you will be subjected to his spam for years to come. My repeated requests to be removed have been in vain and have forever erased any worth that may have been found in the pages of this marginal work. If you still want a copy, buy it here used and save yourself from the spam at least. In fact, my spam-free copy is available for sale at a steep discount. Rating: - interesting.....Want to know what people're think'n all the time?!?! THIS is that book!! brings read'n people to a WHOLE new level!!! Also gives you insight into how the other sex thinks and how they're reacting to you/the current conversation....LoL, tell me that isn't just awesome!!! Rating: - Great Book for Body LanguageThis was a great book very interesting. I read it in two days, which I've never read a book that fast, I just couldn't put it down. However the only bad thing I found was that it focused a lot on dating techniques rather than only body language. It was all right FOR ME, because I wanted a book more focused only on body language. Great book if you want to know more on how to pick up women though. Their are better books out there on body language though. Rating: - InsightfulR. Don Steele is the expert on female flirting. If you don't think he knows his stuff, go to U-Tube and watch the videos made by his local TV stations. He accurately predicted the female response almost unfailingly. This book is a capsule look at his cogent theories and well worth the small price. Rating: - Life Changing. Buy all three of his booksI have three of Steele's books and you can't find a better value anywhere on body language or courtship/dating info. I recently became single again and I am buying all three of his books for a second time, as the others are in storage. The information is priceless. |

Marie opens the show with an outdoor rendition of "We Need a Little Christmas" and then moves into the studio where Kirk Cameron arrives on a snowmobile (fresh from rescuing a trio of blonde snow bunnies) to read "The First Christmas Story." Lee Greenwood performs "Christmas to Christmas" and later a duet with Marie. "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" is sung by Sally Struthers and daughter with help from the Osmond Boys--six stepping stones ages 4 to 12 who have the senior Osmonds' moves down pat. The adorable award, though, goes to Marie's 5-year-old son, Steven, who performs a rockin' version of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" (clapping on the off-beat nearly the whole song).
Marie has a good, strong voice, but many of the songs are overproduced and melodramatic. This, most likely, is a product of the big, pouffy '80s (her hair and outfits are also bigger-than-life) rather than a reflection of her talents. The closing number, "O Holy Night," sung by Marie alone, is quite lovely. --Dana Van Nest
