![]() Rating: - Absolutely Great DVDI decided to try using sign language with my second child. I tried another instructional video and learned some, but it seemed like work. With this video not only did my one year old and I learn the signs, but also my 8 year old and husband- who passed through the room and were fascinated enough to watch along. Both informative and entertaining. Rating: - My daughter can't get enoughMy 2 year old daughter saw volumes 1 & 2 and fell in love. She rarely watches any TV (she doesn't enjoy most videos/DVDs) but she really enjoys the content of these DVDs. She learned the signs very quickly as the presentation is perfect for her. I strongly recommend these and wish there were more volumes. Rating: - Great examples for babiesMy son (3 months old) loves this dvd. i put it on for him if i have to get something done around the house because he gets sucked right in as soon as the music starts to play. i watched it the first couple of times with him so i would know what the signs were that he was learning and i was very impressed with how interactive they made it. the teacher sings the whole time as she teaches and then they show several examples of babies and toddlers doing each sign so your child can really get the hang of what its supposed to look like. my son can already do the signs for milk and drink :) Rating: - Granddaughters can signMy granddaughters learn to sign before they can talk. A toddler who can tell you when they are hungry or thirsty is a lot happier than a child who can only scream. Rating: - Just a sing alongI purchased this product because it was so highly rated. I was hoping it would be instuctional for me, in terms of introducing and effective implementation of signs. It's just a sing along. So if you are looking for a simple children's show demonstrating about 20 words, your typical repetitions and simple songs, it's o.k. However, if I were to do this over I would just look up the signs from an online website and demonstrated them to my child myself, saving the extra bucks. |
